	EMC has developed a novel institutional and capacity building programme cybernetically integrated with computer and information technology systems. All functional areas of the Centre are horizontally and vertically linked with and facilitated by computer systems. This institutional focus and priority resulted in EMC getting identified as a path finder institution in applying computer and information technology for holistic institutional functional integration and coordination. Such an IT-based gov.inanisational and institutional approach resulted in achieving maximum institutional efficiency and social effectiveness.        Notable features of the computer facility of the Centre are 100 MBPS switching network with 3 Com switches, Broadband Internet access on EMC Network , Computer Aided 3D Design, Windows NT Server, Linux Server, Novell Netware Server, SMTP & POP3 Servers, Firewall & Proxy Server, Oracle database Server, high speed network HP Laser Printer, HP Ploter, Multimedia Facilities with Video Capturing, Editing and Multimedia Streaming, Advanced OCR etc.
